Embed a live badge

A small image that shows how many museum and curatorial jobs are open right now, or how many postings state a salary. It regenerates hourly from the live board, so once it’s on your page it stays right. Careers pages, department sites, newsletters, READMEs.

Live roles

Every open museum and curatorial job on the board.

Pay transparency

The share of live postings that state a salary — the sector's number, computed daily.

Your institution's open roles

The number of roles one employer has open, for its own careers page. Every institution page carries its snippet ready to copy; this example uses one of the board's employers.

Scoped to a field and region

Any category and region the site filters by, e.g. Curatorial in Europe.

The small print

Scope it with the same parameters the site uses: ?category= for a field, ?region= for a region, spelled as they appear on the board, or ?institution=with the slug from an institution page’s address. The snippets link back to CuratorSearch with the plain name as the link text — keep it that way. A link whose text is a keyword rather than a name is the kind of thing search engines penalise, and rightly.

On GitHub, README links are marked nofollow, so a badge there sends readers, not ranking. That’s fine; it’s still the right badge for a museum-studies programme’s repository or a personal site.
