RoGallery, located in Long Island City, New York, is a top online gallery and auction house of Modern and Contemporary art with a worldwide clientele of collectors, museums, dealers, and designers.The company environment is casual, but business is fast-paced and can be demanding at times.

We are seeking a full-time gallery assistant with a wide range of skills and experience, with a love for art, to join our team.Typical day-to-day duties for this position include, but are not limited to: photography, Photoshop, art cataloging, database updates, website updates, internet sales/auction listings, and organizing and storing artworks.Requirements for Application:- Working knowledge of Modern and Contemporary Art (Artist Recognition, various mediums, movements, etc)- Photography - Working knowledge of Digital SLR cameras and remote flash system- Proficient in Photoshop and Photo retouching- Experience with Excel and/or an Image Database for cataloging- Familiarity with Art Sales websites like 1stDibs, Artsy, Artnet, Invaluable, etc.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and verbal communication- Highly organized and a self-starter- Speed, precision, and Accuracy of work- Skilled at internet research, Google, ChatGPT, etc- Knowledge of Claude and other AI web development tools- Art handling experienceAdditional skills:- Foreign Languages- Social Media savvy
