For the last 9 years 5-50 Gallery has established itself as a leader among exhibition spaces that specialize in showcasing emerging and mid-career painters and sculptors with rotating monthly exhibitions. Fortunately, our efforts have been successful and we would like to add an additional member to our team. We are proud to have represented and showcased at least 100 artists both in our exhibition space at art fairs.

Additionally, we are currently in partnership with European galleries, showing our artists. 5-50 has attracted attention from artists, and collectors alike, who share our passion for the makers and risk-takers in the art world whose work reveal a visionary glimpse of a fraught and ever fascinating present. Ideally the candidate for this opportunity would align with our mission and to share it with an ever widening pool of admirers.The ideal candidate should be someone who is self motivated and enjoys engaging with the public.

Attending art openings and searching out industry events that coordinate with the gallery’s outreach programs. We would expect to see proactive efforts to cultivate new followers and collectors through face to face interaction as well as relevant social media interaction.Qualifications:- Prior experience in sales (preferable art sales)- Strong communication skills- Knowledge of current art world trends- List of prior clients or followers- Ability to work flexible hours- Experience with social media platforms- Confidence in art and design- References required
