As a Lead Art Handler, you will work directly with Project Managers to plan and execute all aspects of a project including preparation, packing, transport, installation/deinstallation, and registration/storage needs. Leads are hands-on in the field working with and directing our team of handlers through project completion and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate understands that the safety and security of artworks and of fellow team members is critical to both individual and company success.
This role reports to the Operations Manager. All handlers are required to maintain a clean driving record and will regularly be required to drive company vehicles in the immediate region. This role requires detailed knowledge of art handling best practices, museum standards of care, and an in-depth understanding of white glove fine art services. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, proactive nature and professional demeanor are necessary.
