The position emphasizes contemporary and emerging artistic practices across works on paper, with particular attention to print-based practices within contemporary works on paper, and a global perspective that reflects the evolving scope of the field today. The Assistant Curator contributes to projects that engage artists working across diverse geographies, methodologies, and cultural contexts, expanding and rethinking the histories and futures of printmaking, drawing, and other paper-based practices.
