Driver /Art Handler, Valley Stream, Ny

Aetna Fine Art Logistics is an industry leader, with an impeccable reputation for providing a variety of top-quality services to the global fine art community for over 25 years. We are currently seeking a conscientious, thorough, and thoughtful driver who is a fine art technician to add to our team of specialists. To fill this role, we are looking for an experienced art handler and installer with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Applicants must be comfortable working in a team environment and willing to undertake diverse tasks and flexible schedules for our full-service fine art operation.

Our technicians must be comfortable working directly with clients and managing daily projects. We service a variety of art fairs throughout the US and as a result, this position may include some domestic travel. Experience driving a 26 foot truck is essential.

Compensation is based on applicant\'s experience.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE Pickup and deliveries driving a 26 ft. box truck, along with smaller vehicles, CDL preferred, not requiredInstallation of diverse artworks, in diverse settings, including art fairsHandling artworks, with the highest level of respect for its safety and integrityAbility to be client facing and responsive to requests in the fieldHigh regard for maintaining a safe working environmentKnowledge of packing materials and best practicesLift up to 50 lbs. and push and/or pull items of varied size and weightMaintain paperwork for a variety of project typesMotivated, self-starter, team playerComplete condition inspections and reportsWilling and able to work flexible hours when necessaryComfortable working with power toolsMaintain a neat and organized environment in vehicles and our facilities
