Our dedication to excellence has made us a trusted partner in the fine art industry.We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Registrar to join our growing team and support our dynamic operations.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and oversee inventory management systems, ensuring accurate records of all stored and shipped artworks.Utilize FileMaker and proprietary software for tracking inventory and generating reports.Coordinate and manage the in-and-out movements of artworks in the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation and handling procedures.Prepare detailed cost estimates and client-facing quotes for international shipments, domestic deliveries, and local transfersCollaborate with clients to provide updates, advice, and support regarding their collections.Organize and manage shipping logistics, including preparing shipping documentation and coordinating with transportation teams.Ensure adherence to industry standards for handling, packing, and storing fine art.Coordinate with art handlers and warehouse teams on packing, condition checks, and installation logistics, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed throughout transport and delivery.Assist with administrative tasks related to inventory, shipments, and client accounts.Requirements:2-3 years of experience in a fine art shipping or storage company, with a strong understanding of registrar responsibilities.Proficiency in inventory management systems.Familiarity with import and export shipping coordination, including knowledge of customs and logistics processes, a significant advantage.Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.Outstanding communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.Knowledge of warehouse operations and fine art handling best practices is a plus.A Mac office and proficiency with Mac software.What We Offer:Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment.Comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.A collaborative team passionate about fine art and exceptional service.Eligibility for health insurance benefits begins after successful completion of the trial period.
