To support the continued development of our Venice gallery, we are looking for a Registrar & Logistics Manager, based in Venice.

Beschreibung

Working closely with the gallery's team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of artwork logistics and registrar operations.

Artwork Registration

Coordinate the movement of artworks between artists, collectors, art fairs and the gallery's different locations.

Supervise packing, unpacking, condition reports and artwork installations.

Maintain inventories, artwork documentation and registrar archives.

Ensure artworks are handled, stored and maintained according to professional standards.

Transport & Logistics

Organise national and international artwork shipments in collaboration with specialised fine art shippers.

Manage shipping documentation, customs procedures (ATA Carnets, import/export) and insurance requirements.

Obtain and compare shipping quotations, monitor logistics budgets and optimise transport costs.

Anticipate technical requirements and coordinate transport schedules.

Exhibitions & Art Fairs

Prepare and oversee the logistics for exhibitions in Venice and international art fairs.

Participate in exhibition installations and de-installations.

Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.

Coordination & Administration

Act as the main point of contact for artists, studios, transport companies and insurers regarding registrar matters.

Oversee administrative follow-up for logistics and insurance documentation.

Contribute to improving internal procedures and the overall efficiency of gallery operations.
