Registrar

Anton Kern Gallery is looking for a dedicated and experienced registrar to join our gallery team. In this role, the registrar will be responsible for the management and organization of our art inventory, including on- and off-site storage, and our electronic database. They will liaise with the directors and artists to coordinate all shipments for exhibitions and oversee all art fair logistics.

Additional responsibilities include managing loan and consignment paperwork, condition reporting, and annual art insurance reviews.Requirements:• Previous NY or LA gallery experience required• Knowledge of contemporary art, studio practices and materials• Superior data entry skills• Exceptionally organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written• Experience with international shipping and tax protocols• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work autonomously and proactively• Advanced Mac proficiency• ArtLogic, Photoshop skills & graphic design experience a plusSalary range $60,000 - $75,000 annum.
